October 4–Blessing of the Animals
Bring your stuffies and pet photos to the 10am service and then come to the churchyard at 3pm to have your pets blessed in person. Stay for pony rides, our own “Ask-a-Vet” station and more. Don’t miss it!
About St. Mark’s Church
Children
Welcome at all services. There is a soft space/play area available at the back of the church.
Sunday School at 11:15am on 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month.
Messy Church on the 4th Sunday of the month from 4-6pm with dinner.
Youth
Youth Group for 6th-12th grade students meets each Sunday at 11:15am with other activities throughout the year, and a summer mission trip.
All are welcome!
Adults
Coffee and fellowship following the 8am service.
Coffee hour and adult faith formation at 11:15am each Sunday.
Our Men’s Group gathers each Thursday, and a Women’s Book Study meets on Wednesdays.
Each month we support a different charity with our offerings.
When you visit St. Mark’s, if you drop a $10 bill into the offering plate, it’ll go to support a non-profit organization doing good work in the world. And who that charity is changes each month. From organizations helping the homeless to those providing clean water or the one that helps inmates train service dogs.
We know that sharing the love of Jesus is way bigger than what our church community can achieve on its own. It takes people who’ve made it their life mission to make the world a better place. So each month rather than putting those non-designated offerings towards paying for the lights or salaries, we send it out to do even greater things than we could do alone.
We do accept pledges and gifts dedicated to St. Mark’s, of course, and there’s a lot of good that comes from that too. If St. Mark’s is or becomes your spiritual home, we trust you will make gifts to support our ministries.
